BOOKING ON A MONDAY NIGHT? OUR QUIZ IS ON FROM 7:30pm and will be happening in the bar, you’re welcome to join in if you’d like. (doesn’t run in August during the Fringe)
Front Terrace Tables are a simple first come first served basis we do not take booking due to unpredictable Scottish weather!

THE SMALL PRINT – WORTH A READ!!
- We are dog friendly
- Children are allowed until 9pm under our Children & Young Person License
- We have a flat entrance for mobility & wheelchairs, but we do not have a disabled toilet due to the age of the building our toilets are downstairs
- Our tasting room is located downstairs for gin experiences
- 6 Nations, World Cup, Wimbledon and Other Major sports are all being shown live this year. While we aren’t a sports bar day to day, we do show key tournaments and global events with sound on. If you want a table with a view of a TV or projector remember to add it to the notes so we know!
TIMINGS & BIG TABLE SIZES / ARRANGEMENTS
- We are open inside 56 North from 12noon to late
- Our kitchen is open from 12noon to 8:45pm daily
- Pre booking is always recommended and availability shows in real time online
- +10 groups may be in a window area across multi tables as a group
- We do keep tables for walk-in’s
